Thermal Paste or Werewolf Fucker-upper?

Artic Silver on it's way from NewEgg, imo.

I was looking at the specs and it was saying "99% Silver!" and all this other shit. I thought it was gonna be like 50 bucks. Yeah, it's $3.99. Good deal. And I picked up some rounded IDE cables while I was at it. I just want to get this damn thing built and running. Gah.

I'm at work now, at my OTHER job. I should probably be working, but no. I wish I had my own phone extension. What is the point of an office without a phone extension? Who the crap knows.

Knee grow peas.

It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word!

Yeah, so I wrote a huge blog post yesterday, but right as I was about to post it Clarisse started shitting the bed. I have since found out why. The P4 was idling at ~120f. And when I grabbed the heatsink, it was ass cold. So I took off the heatsink to find that the stock thermal-goo layer that Intel slapped on there isn't doing diddly shit. So now I have to go to RadioShack and grab some more of it to put on. Hopefully I'll get a good seal this time and she'll be back up and running. Just a minor setback.

Eh, I'll write more later.

Spkr

Ever completely load and unload a huge U-Haul truck twice? With a total of 8 hours of driving? That guy knows what I'm talking about. Shit son.

I think I'm being shunned, no one wants to link to my blog.

Don't really feel like writing.

So there are roughly 25 days until my life can not be hell anymore. Wouldn't that be helpful. I find that my prep block every day consists of 3 things: Playing Streets of Fire, writing a blog entry, going to the deli to liberate my lunch. Which has become quite a routine... a turkey/roast beef sandwich, snapple ice tea, chocolate chip cookie. Every day, forever. Don't really care though, cause it's good. Deli guy always gives me a look like, "shit son, are you ever going to get anything else?" and I don't, ever. Even moreso now out of spite for the deli man. Ask the devs is supposed to be really cool tonight, and of course that means I probably wont be able to listen to it. I'm going to try my ass off to be home at, well, whenever it is. Only thing is I've got two things that need working on today and tonight. I've got to get my pos lawnmower running before my lawn goes junglebook on my ass, and I need to reconnect the battery to my beamer to see if it'll run. It's just been sitting in my garage on the center stand all year, poor baby. I tried to get it out of my garage last night but it wouldn't fit through the door. Now, you may ask, "why good sir, would you try to fit your bike through a door, when it's in a garage which probably has a garage door?" Well, yes, I have a garage door. But it's boarded the fuck up. Why? Squirrels. Aparantly my old lady had a problem with squirrels when I was down in DAB. So she had the entire garage squirrel-proofed. Said proofing included boarding up our garage door because the door was so shitty and old that even squirrels could bust it open. I couldn't get the lawn mower started for my life last night. So in a very maddox-esque move, I went inside to played videogames. I'm not too sure why I thought Twin-Snakes was so damn hard when I first started playing it. It's really easy now, and I'm almost through the game on the Normal mode. I've stopped playing WaveRace for a while, because that game kind of sucks... a lot. I might as well just keep playing the N64 version, as there are like 4 improvements in the GCN version (and they're all useless or dumb).

I think I've blogged quite enough today. I don't even think anyone reads this, as it isn't linked on the frontpage and only linked in one other staffer's blog. Well, if you do read it, leave a comment. I'm just curious.

Life is like a heatsink...

... well, probably not. But it sounded ok.

I have no energy today, and I've been playing Streets of Fire far more than I should be. Clarisse is now sitting stagnant as I await a new copy of XP. And I just ran into another problem... The IDE swap drive I bought from Comp Geeks is frigging long. With it in the slot I currently have it in it goes all the way back over my motherboard and covers the floppy drive cable input. Not that I ever use my floppy drive... but I dunno. If I end up having to switch things around it's just going to cause a problem with my cabling again, and I might have to find a bunch of extensions. On a completely unrelated note, Battlefield 2 makes my pants tight. Bet you wanted to know that. I can't take these 10 hour workdays anymore. I've been working 50 hours a week for the last 3 weeks since I got home. Having two highly demanding jobs isn't what it's cracked up to be. Remember kids stay in school, eat your vegitables, look both ways, change your underwear, and then you wont end up like me. Well, maybe it's not so bad to be me though, seeing as I pull in $875 a week and I'm only 20.

What the hell is up with airline food? Boy are my arms tired.

Thanks I'll be here all week.

Oh yeah, I saw mart posted a new comic. It turned out good, it's kind of sad though that I thought up the idea for that one after spending too much time at College Humor.

On the Planetside note, I've been cruising the forums a bit and hopefully all these "cool new announcements" are actually things that don't suck. That would make my week. If I get a chance I'll try to log onto IRC some time this week to catch up with all you stalkers.

Well, my prep period is almost over and I've gotta go rock a computer lit class. I'm out.

Project: CLARISSE

Mmmmmboy, she's almost done.

I just wanna hump it.

*unf unf unf unf unf*

Doing some final tweaks here and there, and then organizing this shitstorm of cables. After that she'll be all done. I'll post some pictures of her once she's finished.

Oh yeah, blizzy says "Always make sure you keep loose cables away from fans, as they can stop said fans causing components to get rather hot and burn your testicles when you teabag your case."

And that's the truth, well, except for the teabagging part. I burnt my finger. Which has no relation to my nuts.

Nevermind, back to Clarisse.
